Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SandBox Coworking.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sandbox.com.pk, SandBox coworking locations, memberships, private offices, meeting rooms, facilities, and related services.
By applying for membership, purchasing or booking a service, accessing a SandBox location, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. SandBox Services
SandBox provides coworking and related services that may include:
- Shared workspaces;
- Dedicated workspaces;
- Private offices;
- Meeting and conference rooms;
- Internet access;
- Common areas;
- Business facilities;
- Events and community services;
- Food, beverage, or self-service facilities; and
- Other services made available from time to time.
2. Membership
Membership is subject to approval by SandBox.
Members must provide accurate and complete information when applying for or maintaining a membership.
Memberships are personal to the registered member or organisation and may not be transferred, shared, resold, or assigned without SandBox's permission.
Additional terms contained in a membership agreement, proposal, quotation, or office agreement will form part of the member's agreement with SandBox.
3. Fees and Payments
Membership fees and other charges must be paid according to the applicable invoice, quotation, membership agreement, or payment schedule.
- Membership fees are payable in advance;
- Charges must be paid by their stated due date;
- Members are responsible for additional services they purchase or use; and
- Outstanding balances may result in suspension of services or access.
SandBox reserves the right to revise its prices. Existing members will be informed where required before revised recurring membership charges take effect.
4. Security Deposit
Certain memberships or private offices may require a refundable security deposit.
The deposit is not considered payment of the final month's membership fee unless SandBox agrees otherwise in writing.
SandBox may deduct amounts relating to:
- Outstanding invoices;
- Unpaid service charges;
- Damage beyond reasonable wear and tear;
- Missing equipment, keys, or access cards;
- Required notice periods; or
- Other amounts payable under the member's agreement.
5. Cancellation and Termination
Unless another notice period has been agreed in writing, ongoing memberships require one month's written notice for cancellation.
Membership fees for a period that has already started are generally non-refundable.
SandBox may suspend or terminate access where a member:
- Fails to make required payments;
- Seriously or repeatedly violates SandBox policies;
- Engages in unlawful activity;
- Causes damage to SandBox property;
- Threatens the safety or security of others;
- Seriously disrupts other members;
- Misuses facilities or access credentials; or
- Breaches a material term of their agreement.
6. Workspace Conduct
Members and visitors are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, safe, and clean working environment.
Users must not:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against others;
- Create unreasonable disturbance or excessive noise;
- Damage or misuse SandBox property;
- Engage in illegal activity;
- Bring dangerous, prohibited, or unlawful materials onto the premises;
- Interfere with security, internet, electrical, access-control, or other systems;
- Permit unauthorised persons to use their access credentials; or
- Use the premises in a way that materially interferes with other members.
7. Access Cards and Building Access
Access cards, credentials, keys, QR codes, or other access methods remain subject to SandBox's access and security policies.
Members must not share access credentials with unauthorised persons.
SandBox may temporarily restrict access for security, maintenance, emergency, non-payment, or operational reasons.
8. Internet and Technology
Internet access is provided as a shared business facility. While SandBox takes reasonable steps to provide reliable connectivity, uninterrupted internet access or a specific speed cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Members are responsible for:
- Protecting their devices and data;
- Maintaining appropriate cybersecurity measures;
- Backing up important files;
- Using the network lawfully; and
- Avoiding activity that negatively affects network performance.
9. Meeting Rooms and Shared Facilities
Meeting rooms and other shared facilities are subject to availability and applicable booking rules.
Members must:
- Use booked areas only during their allocated time;
- Leave facilities reasonably clean and orderly;
- Avoid interfering with other bookings; and
- Pay any applicable additional charges.
10. Personal Belongings
Members and visitors are responsible for their own belongings.
SandBox is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Damage to Property
Members may be charged for damage caused by themselves, their employees, team members, clients, or guests where the damage goes beyond normal wear and tear.
12. Health, Safety, and Emergencies
Members and visitors must follow reasonable safety, security, evacuation, and emergency instructions provided by SandBox staff.
13. CCTV and Security
SandBox locations may use CCTV, access-control systems, and other security measures for safety, security, incident investigation, and property protection.
14. Visitors and Guests
Members may be permitted to invite visitors subject to applicable location and membership rules.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with SandBox policies while on the premises.
15. Business Activities
Members remain solely responsible for their own businesses, employees, customers, taxes, registrations, licences, legal obligations, and professional activities.
Using SandBox as a workspace does not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency relationship, joint venture, or other business relationship between SandBox and the member.
16. Website Use
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- Introduce malware or harmful software;
- Misrepresent your identity;
- Submit fraudulent enquiries, applications, or transactions; or
- Use the website for illegal purposes.
17. Third-Party Services
SandBox may use or provide access to third-party services including payment gateways, internet providers, software platforms, delivery providers, or other vendors.
SandBox is not responsible for failures caused solely by independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
18. Service Availability
Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- Maintenance;
- Repairs;
- Utility interruptions;
- Internet provider outages;
- Government actions;
- Security incidents;
- Weather or natural events;
- Equipment failure; or
- Other circumstances outside SandBox's reasonable control.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SandBox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our workspace, website, or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
20. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy available on sandbox.com.pk.
21. Changes to These Terms
SandBox may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, operations, policies, or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on sandbox.com.pk with its effective date.
22. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of SandBox services will be governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pakistan, unless another dispute-resolution arrangement has been agreed in writing between SandBox and the customer.
